Thanks to all the Ground Troops who came out to rock with us at Rockfalls Tavern in Richmond on November 10th 2007.This was our first official show with Dave Runner. As you've probably heard, Stompin Ground tore the roof off the Tavern. The hour and a half second set started off with Ridin’ the Storm Out and featured the first live performance of the Stompin Ground original Sammy’s Good Eye as well as SGs version of 30 Days in the hole! We would like to thank Chris Friedrich from The Nabokovs for joining us on Alright Now!

STOMPIN GROUND has recruited one of the best musicians around to play bass: acclaimed guitar player, session musician, and long-time friend Dave Runner. "Those of you involved in the music scene have seen Dave over the years. Runner, a renowned player whose credits include Lords of Fubar, Strange Brew, Rumblur, and Vile Silencer, and he is looking forward to playing with his long-time friends in STOMPIN GROUND. He’s going to play bass and you’re going to love it. “This is going to be fun," says Dave, and jokes.
CD Release Postponed - 9/28/2007
The recording of the upcoming CD has been postponed to later in the year as the band has had personnel change. Hopefully the CD will be ready for a release first part of 2008, but no dates have been set yet.
