Stompin Ground has been taking Rock music out for a ride in new directions since reforming in 2005. Still, the Richmond, VA based quartet never loses sight of its more traditional influences in the rear view mirror of its musical journey.

The group quickly advanced beyond mere "cover band" status when they began penning songs which were a habit-forming blend of funky roots-rock and the band's beloved southern grooves which has fueled their rapidly growing popularity with local audiences.
